Once there was a writing retreat... and it just got better and better year after year!

So, go ahead and send in a deposit if you want to attend, but understand that we may be sending your deposit back and saying “Sorry!” in May unless deposited campers pull out. In either case we will keep you informed as soon as your status changes.

Dates for the Lost Coast Writers Retreat, 2019:

Wednesday, June 19 (pm) 

through Friday, June 28 (am)

Our 2018 camp was a huge success, and, as anticipated, we reached our designated capacity of 30 campers on two of our nine nights. We did not have to turn anyone away, but it seems likely that we WILL have to do so in 2019. We have already begun to receive deposits!

We have developed a system for making sign-ups fair:

          FULL FEE for nine nights, all meals included, is still $325;

          DEPOSIT to hold a spot is $50;

          CHECKS are payable to LCWRC;

          IF you have attended camp at any time previously, your sign-up    

                window is open through November 15, 2018;

          IF you are a first-time attendee, or late-deciding returnee, open

                deposit season begins November 15, 2018;

          ALL fees need to be paid by June 1, 2019;

          ALL deposits are non-refundable, but;

          FEES are fully refundable up to the start of camp, negotiable

                thereafter;

          A WAITING LIST will be started when we have received 30 deposits;

          WAIT-LISTERS will be notified by email regarding their status;

          AS deposits are refunded, wait-listers will be contacted in the order

                their deposits were received.

Again in 2019, campers who sign up for six nights will have the option of staying for one or all three additional  nights at the full-stay rate of $325. Campers staying fewer than six nights will pay $60 per night.

AS USUAL, ALL DELICIOUS FOOD AND STARTER DRINKS ARE INCLUDED IN THE FEE!
